Definition Search
Search TermsInstead of looking for the string you enter, the search engine looks for calls that have all the words you enter, irrespective of proximity or order. For example, you can specify kopman cross to find all calls written by Lee Kopman that have the word "cross" in the name or definition. Fan the top will find all calls that have the words fan, the, and top, but they need not necessarily form the string "fan the top".LevelsYou can type the level of the calls you are looking for. Levels are encoded as A1, A2, C1, C2, 3A, 3B, 3X, 4A, 4B, and 4Z. But it's probably easier to use the Advanced Search Page to do such searches.DatabaseBy default, words are searched in the whole database text. There might be some matches with random text in the definition, such as examples or encoded pictures. You can elect to search only the call names if you wish.Case SensitivitySearch patterns are not case sensitive. fan the top will return the same matches as FAN tHe ToP.
