Notes on Browser Compatibility

This is one of only a few pages on the mixed-up site that make extensive use of JavaScript. I have found that the following browsers are compatible:

PC/Mac Mozilla, Firefox, Netscape 7 (but not Netscape 6)
PC Opera 7.54 (Opera not recommended: it looks crappy)
Mac Opera 8 (but not 7.54 or 6) (Opera not recommended: it looks crappy)
Mac Camino 0.84
Mac Safari
PC/Mac Internet Explorer 5.5+ are supposed to be compatible.

The follwing browsers are not compatible:

Mac OmniWeb (any version).

Geocoders and other resources

Geocoders are programs that convert a street location to a coordinate pair (latitude, longitude).

You can find introductory articles on geocoding on sites like Wikipedia. Most of what I needed to learn for this project, I just looked up on the internet.
